explore the best of winona from this convenient hotel
I particularly loved how the hotel is just a short stroll from Lake Park, where you can enjoy scenic views and trails. The nearby coffee shop Mugby Junction served the best coffee, perfect for fueling my city walks.

Room was decent! Had a nice view. The breakfast had some good options, but I felt judged for wanting more than allowed, yet they didn't really mind.
It wasn’t cheap, might say a bit pricey, but given the service, it felt sort of acceptable.

The Fairfield Inn in Winona has a fantastic location near the lake. Stores and fast food joints are just a short stroll away. The hotel offered easy access to local attractions like Winona State, which was perfect, especially after watching basketball with my husband. The room was clean and comfortable upon arrival, which felt like a welcome surprise after traveling all day. I loved the view from my room. it really added to our stay. However, breakfast could be better. The selection was lacking variety, and it ran out quickly. There’s also a bit of noise from the nearby highway that could disturb some guests, though it wasn’t too bothersome for me. My experience with the pool wasn’t ideal either. the chlorine level felt too high, making our eyes burn. Overall, while there were some issues, I found the stay enjoyable due to the clean rooms and great location. I'd consider returning if the breakfast situation improves.
